The therapy of chronic diseases including cancer is very complex and requires a coordinated interaction of all disciplines both from the classical as well as empirical medicine. In my experience there are no real "alternative" therapies. Success comes from the right combination of therapy options from many areas, if it can be individualized. Hyperthermia is one of these options.

Publications on various forms of hyperthermia suggest an increase in most chemotherapeutic/radiotherapy effects used. However, hyperthermia has the following effects on every patient/tumor? Is there a test procedure to assess the therapeutic effect? These questions will be addressed in the following.

Dr. Hüseyin Sahinbas is considered one of the leading European experts for hyperthermia in oncological treatment. He is a radiology specialist with focus on interventional microtherapy (based on his many years at Grönemeyer Institute) as well as a radiation oncology specialist and holds multiple additional qualifications in complementary medicine, TCM, and palliative medicine.
